The Springfield Armory M1A Tanker features a ghost ring rear aperture and a tritium-powered front night sight. The 16.25″ carbon steel barrel features six-groove precision rifling and a 1:11″ right hand twist. With the whole package weighing in at less than 9 lbs, you’ll always have enough gun with the compact yet powerful M1A Tanker. The M1A Tanker is designed to pack .30-caliber horsepower into a package typically reserved for much lesser guns. A ghost ring rear sight combined with a tritium-enhanced front sight moves the gun fast even in dim light. The M1A Tanker featuring a custom-designed 16.25″ carbon steel barrel tipped with a proprietary muzzle brake that is small but efficient.

The M1A Tanker in .308 Winchester takes the M1A™ platform and shrinks it down to a remarkably compact and portable size, proving that sometimes less really is more, having a shortened gas system and short 16.25″ barrel.

The M1A Tanker has a specially-engineered 16.25″ barrel that greatly reduces felt recoil with a proprietary muzzle brake mated to the gas system. It also features an enlarged ghost ring aperture rear sight, and features lightning fast target acquisition capability with the XS Sights® tritium insert in the front sight.
